中国文化センター / Chinese Cultural Centre

この文化センターは1973年に政府と多くのコミュニティの支援で設立され,建物自体は１９８０年から８１年にかけて作られている（庭園は１９８６年）。このセンターの一部にUBCにある文化人類学博物館と明らかによく似た外観のデザインをした部分がある。どちらも門方で文化人類博物館は海へ、この文化センターのものは施設中心の広場に向かっている。
The cultural centre was founded in 1973 with governmental and many communities’ supports and the building was opened in 1980-81 (the garden opened in 1986 according to the expo 86'). In this centre, one of the exterior design context obviously quotes from the anthropology museum in UBC. Each façade look like gate. The one in UBC faces to sea, and the other one in the cultural centre faces to the center plaza of this building.
